Mapei, an Italian building materials manufacturer, is celebrating the 10/20/80 Anniversaries the 14th of September 2017 at its production facility in Stupino, Moscow region:
– 10 years from the start of our first production in Stupino;
– 20 years of successful presence in Russia;
– 80 years of MAPEI Group in the world.

This Anniversaries celebration is a magnificent occasion for the Company to show appreciation to its partners and employees. The dynamic growth and development of Mapei activities in Russia confirm the Company as a significant Italian investor in the Russia’s building materials industry with a stable and ongoing perspective for the future. The top management of Mapei Group Ms Veronica Squinzi, the Global Director, and Mr Marco Squinzi, the R&D Director, together with their honorable guests Mr Nicola Jovanovic, the First Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Italian Embassy, and Mr Pavel Chelpan, the Head of Stupino Municipal District, have been present at the event to show their personal concern for the development of the Russian-Italian cooperation and friendship.

MAPEI IN RUSSIA
Established in 1997, ZAO Mapei has 3 production facilities to cover a large geographical area from the Baltic sea down to the Caspian and from the European board to Urals. Our first plant in Stupino (Moscow region) was opened in 2007 with a capacity of more than 60.000 tons per year, the second one situated in Aramil (Yekaterinburg area) appeared in 2013 – capacity, 30.000 tons per year – and the third plant located in Kikerino (Saint Petersburg area) will start its operation in September 2017 with a capacity of 50.000 tons per year .
Today ZAO Mapei can counts more than 200 employees with a capillary presence in each of the Russian regions; Mapei has particularly developed its sales and technical service network qualified to support Customers all over the Country and offering a professional support recognized by Construction specialists as one of the Company’s most valuable resources.
