7th Russian International Energy Forum
25th – 28th June 2019, St. Petersburg
On June 25 to 28, 2019, the 7th Russian International Energy Forum (hereinafter referred to as RIEF or Forum) is going to take place in EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.
Being one of the major dedicated events in the fuel and energy sector, the Forum offers a unique venue for power agencies, business and academic communities to communicate, to expand the horizons of mutually beneficial collaboration, for interregional and international partnership.
The Forum will be participated by Russia’s Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Government of St. Petersburg, World Energy Council, Russian Export Center JSC and other industrial associations and communities. The project is included in the RF Ministry of Energy’s Master Plan of Participation in Convention, Exhibition and Fair Events that will run in the Russian Federation and abroad in 2019.
As the partners of the Forum, top Russian and foreign companies will showcase cutting edge solutions and services and organize thematic zones of business communication. The list of RIEF participants includes representatives of state authorities, business communities, heads of international organizations, academia and journalists.
The 7th Russian International Energy Forum includes an extensive exhibition and convention program.The convention program of RIEF-2019 will feature leading industry professionals and experts, who are going to meet at plenary sessions, conferences and round-table discussions and consider the most pressing matters of the fuel and energy sector. Key subjects for discussion are electricity generation, thermal generation and heat supply, energy saving and energy efficiency, electric power transmission and distribution, introduction of digital technologies, environmental safety and RES development, customer affairs, electricity market legislation and regulation, investment and financing, HR and social policies of energy companies, export potential of the Russian equipment, and many more.
During the 26th International specialised exhibition POWER & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, top manufacturers of the energy industry, along with suppliers of equipment and services for thermal, electric and hydro-electric stations, as well as electrical and heat grids, will showcase their achievements and innovative solutions. The exhibition has been an essential part of RIEF since 2013 and has been an UFI Approved event for more than 10 years, holding top positions in industry ratings in the categories “Exhibition Space”, “Professional Interest”, “Global Approval”, and “Market Coverage”.
Top companies of the fuel and energy sector take part in the Forum, thus supporting the key concept of the event, which is providing a venue for efficient collaboration of the parties concerned.
Thus, in 2018 the Forum attracted over 250 exponents, 2,500 delegates, and 8,500 guests from 21 regions of Russia and 17 countries worldwide.
